about

This track was a deep-dive. I had LOTS of great evocative sounds to work with, and that's always a blessing and a challenge. Since there's no "song" to start with, only a collection of sounds, I've got to suss things out, got to find the gem hidden with-in the jumble of sonics, got to tease it out and give it life.

I LOVE the always-slow reveal as the composition comes into fruition, into focus. I'm always WOWED in the end, and this track is proof why - it's such a deeply ceremonial track that travels many places on its sonic journey. I had no idea when I started!!

=== OTHERS SAY IT BEST ===
• "It's like I took a psychedelic trip w/o taking drugs. A visual trip."

• "So mystical and ancient! "Crimson Queen" is physically powerful - made me want to do a slow tribal dance!"

• "Unspeakably beautiful! You did such a wonderful job putting it together! The musicians are terrific, it's all such a unique and fabulous whole. I needed to hear this more than I can say."

• "My heart opened wide and wider and still wider. The ancient sounds ... amazing."

• "So dreamy... so lush.. so gorgeous! I was so entranced with Andy's piano, his sensitive touch, his lines... so beautiful."

• "The combination of Brother Thom's voice plus the violin and piano is so unique and touching."

• "The way you arranged the instruments, the song - perfection. It was like my meditation sessions, I'd go out and then come back to center, over and over. Loved it!"

• "There's an ancestral connection. It's open and expansive, deepening relaxation."
